Privacy Policy

Effective: October 28, 2026 (amended) · Last updated: October 28, 2026

This English version is a translation of the Korean original. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails except where your local law requires otherwise.

Sector 71 (구역71) (hereinafter "the App") is a 3/4-perspective extraction shooter in which you enter a sealed-off military zone, search supply crates, fight AI marauders, and escape alive. This Policy applies to the App provided by SangLimSoft, hereinafter "the Company", and to the App's information and support website (sector71.sanglimsoft.com). The Company complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws and regulations.

The App has no account registration or login, and your game progress is stored only on your device. However, to improve the game and fix errors, App usage statistics and error information are transmitted to a collection server operated by the Company (Section 2). In addition, the App contains optional rewarded advertisements, and the advertising provider's SDK transmits the information needed to display advertisements directly to the advertising provider (Section 2-3). Information stored on your device and information transmitted externally are described separately below.

1. Consent

When you launch the App for the first time, a consent screen is displayed. You must consent to the required items (the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy) to start the game, while you may use the App without consenting to the optional item, "Participate in App Improvement." The usage statistics and error information described in Section 2 are transmitted only after you consent to Participate in App Improvement and are not transmitted if you do not consent. The fact that the consent screen was displayed and the consent record are transmitted together immediately after consent; if you exit the App without consenting, they are deleted without ever leaving the device.

The fact that you consented is recorded on this device together with the policy version and the time of consent. Separately, when you consent to the required items, your acceptance of the Terms is recorded on the Company's server in the form of an acceptance number (Section 2-2); however, that record contains no information that identifies you, so the Company's server does not store who consented, and only the fact that you viewed the consent screen and consented, the version you consented to, the number of items on the consent screen, and the time taken to consent are transmitted as usage statistics under Section 2.

2. App Usage Statistics and Error Information

To improve the service and fix errors, the following information is transmitted to a collection server operated by the Company.

During a deployment, the map and loadout for that match (weapon, armor, and backpack; number of rounds; number of items carried in; weight class; number of parts attached to the primary weapon, active combination bonuses, and range of part condition), the retrieval contract and route, the range of in-game currency (₩) held, and the sum of Hideout facility levels are attached to the records and error information transmitted during that time. In addition, the identifier of the current screen at the time a record is created and your progress (number of deployments started so far, number of weapons unlocked, and trader reputation level) are attached to all records and error information.

The anonymous identifier is a random value generated on your device at installation and is not linked to any information that identifies you. Because the App has no login, the Company does not link this value to any individual's account. However, the anonymous identifier persists for the same installation until the App is deleted, and a new value is generated if you delete and reinstall the App.

Error information includes the error type, the error message, and the program execution path leading up to the error. Owing to the nature of the App's release build, source code file names and locations are not revealed; however, error messages may include part of the values being processed at the time the error occurred.

The collection server is operated directly by the Company. When receiving requests, it briefly checks the connecting IP address solely to prevent excessive requests and does not store it. The infrastructure on which the server runs and front-end transmission are provided by the vendors listed in Section 8.

2-2. Records of Acceptance of the Terms

To confirm acceptance of the Terms of Service and to respond to disputes, the following information is transmitted to and recorded on a collection server operated by the Company when you first launch the App and consent to the required items, and each time you consent again following an amendment of the Terms. This record is created when you consent to the required items, regardless of whether you have consented to the optional item, Participate in App Improvement.

This record does not include your name, contact details, account, device identifiers, the anonymous identifier described in Section 2, or IP address. You can view and copy your acceptance number under "Terms Acceptance Record" on the App's settings screen; if you provide it when contacting us, it will be used to locate the corresponding acceptance record. This record is not linked to the usage statistics described in Section 2 and is used only as a count in statistics measuring the volume of new users and their distribution by country and platform. This processing is carried out for the Company's legitimate interest in proving acceptance of the Terms.

2-3. Advertising

The App is free and contains rewarded advertisements that you choose to view by pressing a button. If you watch an advertisement to the end, you may receive free equipment from the Daily Gift on the home screen or recover one piece of equipment lost after being killed; you can progress through the game without watching advertisements. Rewards are granted only within the App and are not recorded on the Company's server.

For the daily usage count of ad rewards, only the date and the count are stored on your device (Section 4) and are not transmitted to the Company's server or to the advertising provider. Because the App may be used only by persons aged 14 or older, it does not display advertisements directed at children.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

4. Information Stored Only on Your Device

So that you can continue playing the game, the following information is stored only on your device.

This stored information itself is not transmitted to the Company's servers or to third parties (the terms acceptance record described in Section 2-2 is transmitted separately at the time of consent), and the Company keeps no separate copy of it. However, the activity logs described in Section 2 contain parts of game progress, such as equipment loadouts and the value of items brought out.

Purposes of processing: to save game progress so that you can continue playing the next time you launch the App, and to avoid displaying the consent screen again for a version you have already consented to

5. External Communications

The only information the App sends off the device is the information described in Section 2, the terms acceptance record described in Section 2-2, and the information transmitted by the advertising SDK described in Section 2-3. The App has no in-app purchase (payment) or external sharing features.

6. Information Processed When You Use the Website

The App's introduction and support website on which this Policy is posted (sector71.sanglimsoft.com) is served through the hosting provider listed in Section 8, and technical information such as IP addresses and browser types may be processed by the hosting provider in the course of access. The Company does not install any separate visitor analytics tools or ad tracking scripts on this website and does not use cookies.

7. Customer Inquiries

When you submit an inquiry through the inquiry form on the support page or by email, the Company receives the following information necessary to respond to and handle your inquiry.

This information is used solely to respond to inquiries and handle requests. Content submitted through the inquiry form is stored in the inquiry intake storage operated by the Company, and content sent by email is stored in the Company's mailbox.

8. Provision to Third Parties, Outsourcing of Processing, and Overseas Transfer

The Company does not sell your information and does not provide the information it collects under Sections 2 and 2-2 to third parties for advertising purposes. However, the advertising SDK described in Section 2-3 transmits information directly to the advertising provider. To the extent necessary to operate the service, the Company uses the services of the following companies.

Supabase, Inc. stores information in the Republic of Korea, but because the processor is headquartered in the United States, the information may be accessed from overseas; the other companies maintain servers overseas, so information is transferred overseas in the course of processing. The App's advertising SDK transmits information directly to Google LLC(AdMob) while the App is running and connected to the internet. The information described in Section 2 is transmitted over the internet from time to time while you use the App after giving consent. If you do not wish your information to be transferred overseas, you may decline consent on the consent screen (you can still start the game in this case), withdraw your consent to participate in app improvement under Settings › Privacy Management, or delete the App. Except where requested in accordance with applicable laws, the Company does not provide information to third parties for purposes other than those stated above without your consent.

In accordance with Article 28-8 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company hereby notifies you of the personal information transferred overseas as set out in the table below.

The Company does not retain this information.

How to refuse and the effect of refusal: The information described in Section 2 is not transmitted if you do not consent on the consent screen at first launch (you can still start the game in that case). Even if you have already consented, if you withdraw your consent to participate in App improvement under Settings › Privacy Management, collection stops immediately and deletion of records already transmitted is requested; transmission also ceases once the App is deleted. The Terms acceptance records described in Section 2-2 are transmitted when you consent to the required items; if you do not wish them to be transmitted, you must exit the App without consenting to the required items, in which case you cannot start the game. The advertising information described in Section 2-3 is transmitted independently of participation in App improvement; if you do not wish it to be transmitted, you may limit the use of advertising identifiers by declining tracking permission on iOS or by deleting or resetting your Advertising ID on Android, and in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and similar regions, you may decline consent in Google's consent form. There is no setting to disable the advertising SDK itself; transmission ceases once the App is deleted. Information submitted through the inquiry form and by email is transferred only when you make an inquiry and is not transferred if you do not make an inquiry.

9. Retention Period and Destruction

The usage statistics and error information described in Section 2 are automatically deleted by the collection server once 1 year has passed from the date of receipt; if you request deletion before then, the records linked to the anonymous identifier of the relevant installation are deleted without delay. Backup copies on the collection server are retained for 30 days and then deleted; accordingly, deleted records may remain in backup copies for up to 30 days.

The Terms acceptance records described in Section 2-2 are retained for 1 year from the date of receipt by the collection server and then destroyed. Where an inquiry or dispute identified by an acceptance number is pending, the records may be retained until it is resolved. As stated above, backup copies on the collection server are retained for 30 days and then deleted.

Information received through inquiries is retained for the period necessary to process the inquiry and destroyed once the purpose has been achieved. Where applicable laws require retention, it is retained for the period so required. Technical information on website access is processed in accordance with the hosting provider's policies.

Game progress information and consent records stored on the device are deleted when the App is deleted. On Android, they are also deleted if you clear the storage (data) under App info in Settings. Because the Company does not store game progress information on its servers, deleted game progress information cannot be recovered.

The advertising information described in Section 2-3 is retained and destroyed by Google LLC in accordance with its own policies; because the Company does not retain this information, the Company cannot delete it. The number of times ad rewards have been used is stored on the device and is deleted when the App is deleted.

If you have enabled your operating system's device backup feature (iCloud Backup, Google Backup, etc.), information stored on the device may be included in that backup, which is subject to the policies of the relevant operating system provider.

10. Automatic Collection Tools and App Permissions

The App does not use cookies. The advertising SDK included in the App uses advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS and Advertising ID on Android), which Google LLC may use for personalized advertising (Section 2-3). The information described in Section 2 that the Company collects is used solely to improve the Company's services and fix errors, and is not combined with information collected from other companies' apps or websites to track you or used for advertising.

The App does not request any separate device permissions, such as camera, photos, location, contacts, or notifications. However, on iOS, the App requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission for advertising purposes, and on Android, the advertising SDK accesses the Advertising ID (Section 2-3).

11. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of the processing of your information. If you contact the Company through the request form on the support page (https://sector71.sanglimsoft.com/support) or by email (support@sanglimsoft.com), the Company will verify your request and take action. Because the App has no accounts, the Company cannot on its own link a requester to the records described in Section 2. Therefore, if you provide the type of device you use and the approximate date on which you installed the App when making your request, the Company will locate the relevant records and take action. If the records cannot be identified, the Company will inform you of that fact. Within the App, you may request deletion directly via Settings › Privacy Management › Delete Personal Information. For the Terms acceptance records described in Section 2-2, if you provide the acceptance number displayed under 'Terms Acceptance Record' on the App's settings screen, the Company will locate the relevant record and process your request for access or deletion. If the acceptance number is not known, the record cannot be linked to you and may not be identifiable. In that case, the Company will inform you of that fact.

You may delete game progress information stored on your device yourself, using the methods described in Section 9 (deleting the App or deleting the App's data). The advertising information described in Section 2-3 is retained by Google LLC. You may therefore request access to or deletion of that information through the ad settings of your Google Account and by the methods described in Google's Privacy Policy.

12. Children's Personal Information

The App may be used only by persons 14 years of age or older. At first launch, the App confirms that you are 14 years of age or older. The App does not ask for age information such as date of birth. It processes only the information described in this Policy, in the same manner for all users. Information that can identify users, such as names or contact details, is not collected through the App.

13. Privacy Officer and Contact Information

14. Security Measures

15. Remedies for Infringement of Rights

If you need to report or seek advice regarding an infringement of personal information, you may contact the following organizations.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If the information we process changes, we will first amend this Policy and post the changes and their effective date on this page. If a change requires renewed consent, the App will display the consent screen again.

Amended September 25, 2026 — The version first posted on the same day stated that the App did not collect or transmit personal information and did not communicate with external servers. As the App now transmits usage statistics and error information and displays a consent screen on first launch, we added descriptions of the consent procedure (Section 1), the information transmitted (Sections 2 and 3), the information that remains only on the device (Section 4), the operation of the collection server and overseas transfer (Section 8), and the retention period and how to request deletion (Sections 9 and 11).

Further amended September 25, 2026 — In Section 2, we added deployment summaries (ranges for hit rate, damage taken, time to first movement and to first shot, and value of items lost), ranges for deployment loading time, horn events, trader window views, and screen identifiers for in-deployment windows (search window, backpack, full map), as well as the current screen identifier attached to all records; replaced the map and backpack opening records with screen identifiers; and specified that injury records are sent once per type per deployment.

Change of posting location, September 25, 2026 — We moved this Policy from sanglimsoft.com/privacy/sector71/ to the App's information and support website (sector71.sanglimsoft.com/privacy), and revised the scope (first paragraph), the information processed when using the website (Section 6), the list of vendors (Section 8), and the support page address (Section 11) to reflect this website. The information processed by the App has not changed.

Further amended September 25, 2026 — In Section 2, we added the type of enemy that last attacked in deployments in which you were killed in action, the discovery of additional extraction points, and screen identifiers for the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy viewing screens. On the same day, we posted the Terms of Service.

Amended September 27, 2026 — With the addition of retrieval operations to the App, we added the selected retrieval contract and the chosen route to the deployment start record and to the information attached to in-deployment records in Section 2.

Amended September 28, 2026 — In Section 2, we added the deployment count (which deployment it is) to the deployment start and end records; added the range of rubles held and the sum of Hideout facility levels to the deployment start record and to the information attached to in-deployment records; and added a detailed record sent once per deployment (backpack, health, and time remaining at extraction; the grid cell where you were killed in action, the time from the start of combat until being killed, and whether healing items were left unused; the number of engagements and the proportion of time spent crouching; and the range of screen frame rate), as well as deployments that ended because the App became inactive during deployment. All of these are range values; coordinates within the game map are not sent—only which of the nine grid cells applies.

Amended September 30, 2026 — With the expansion of the boss and collection log features in the App, we added to Section 2 boss fight records, the source that triggered alarms, the disabling of field devices, a terrain record sent once per deployment (ranges for underfoot noise and time spent in water), collection log interactions and newly recorded collectibles, the map and retrieval contract selected during deployment preparation, the range of time spent there, cases of leaving without deploying, and the screen identifier for the collection log screen. All of these are in-game types, counts, or range values, and no information identifying users was added. On the same day, we also added to Section 2 the weapon part records, and the part information attached to in-deployment records, which had been transmitted since App update 1.0.3 but had been omitted from this Policy.

Amended October 1, 2026 — Starting with App update 1.0.5, the following items were added to Section 2: whether the equipment pre-selected during deployment preparation was taken out unchanged, expansion of the weapon maintenance panel, and the point at which a weapon was newly unlocked. Progress level (number of deployments started, number of weapons unlocked, and trader reputation tier) was also added to the information attached to every record. All of these are in-game type, count, or tier values, and no information that identifies you has been added.

Updated September 26, 2026 — The website referred to in Section 6 discontinued its use of an external font service and now serves fonts from this website's own server. Accordingly, the related outsourced processing entry in Section 8 has been removed. The items of personal information processed have not changed.

Updated September 27, 2026 — The names of the processors in Section 8 have been revised to their legal entity names (no change to the processing performed).

Amended October 2, 2026 — An overseas transfer table under Article 28-8 of the Personal Information Protection Act (recipient and contact details, country, items, timing and method, purpose, retention and use period, and how to refuse and the effect of refusal) was added to Section 8, and the country information for processors was made more specific (Supabase: data stored in the Republic of Korea; processor headquartered in the United States). Section 13 (Privacy Officer), Section 14 (measures to ensure security), and Section 15 (remedies for infringement of rights) were also added. The information processed has not changed.

Further amended October 2, 2026 — The tool used for inquiry receipt notifications has been corrected to Slack, and additional notice is given that the access IP address is stored when the inquiry form is submitted.

Further amended October 2, 2026 — Starting with App update 1.0.6, the following items were added to Section 2: the reason the use of a healing item was interrupted, throwing of decoy bottles, the types of progress shown on the results screen, and the range of the proportion of hits taken from enemies that were not visible. All of these are in-game type, count, or range values, and no information that identifies you has been added.

Updated October 2, 2026 — Following changes to in-game terminology, the Korean term '레이드' in Section 2 has been replaced with '출격' (deployment), and '세이프 칸' with '은닉 주머니 칸' (Hidden Pouch slot). The information processed has not changed.

Amended October 7, 2026 — To reflect screens and features newly introduced up to App update 1.0.10, the following items were added to Section 2: the screen identifier for the Storage screen; during deployment preparation, items you went to view at a trader because they were lacking, equipment you changed manually, and items you selected to bring in or to conceal; in Storage, items you checked, moved, or rotated, and the range of the number of item groups whose overlapping storage positions were automatically corrected; the types of enemies killed in combat between enemies; the types of choices you made regarding injured persons encountered during a deployment; registration of rescued injured persons at the Hideout, completion of their treatment, and changes to their assigned tasks; and generation of Hideout supplies. All of these are in-game type, count, or range values, and no information that identifies you has been added.

Amended October 8, 2026 — The retention period for the usage statistics and error information described in Section 2 (one year from the date of receipt by the collection server) has been specified in Section 9 and in the overseas transfer table in Section 8. The information processed has not changed.

Amended October 15, 2026 — Records of acceptance of the Terms (acceptance number, time of receipt, country of access, version and language, and type of usage environment) were added to Section 2-2, and Sections 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, and 11 were amended accordingly. Section 12 now specifies the requirement that users be 14 years of age or older and the confirmation performed at first launch.

Amended October 24, 2026 — As optional rewarded advertisements (free equipment during deployment preparation and recovery of equipment lost after being killed in action) have been introduced in the App, a new Section 2-3 "Advertising" has been added, describing the information that the advertising SDK transmits directly to the advertising provider (Google LLC) and how to refuse such transmission. Accordingly, Section 3 (deletion of the statement that there are no advertisements), Section 4 (number of times ad rewards are used), Section 5, Section 8 (Google LLC and the overseas transfer table), Section 9, Section 10, and Section 11 were amended. Article 2 of the Terms of Service was also amended.

Amended October 28, 2026 — To reflect the current content of the App, the description of the game's perspective in the first paragraph and the location where ad rewards are received in Section 2-3 (the Daily Gift on the home screen) have been revised. The information processed has not changed. The Terms of Service have also been amended.
